Point Loma is a beach neighborhood in San Diego, California. The first Europeans discovered Point Loma September 28, 1542, when Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo arrived from Mexico and led an expedition to the West Coast, now known as part of the United States to explore. Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo impression was very pleased with the Bay of San Diego and he probably thought linked its lighthouse on the eastern shore of Point Loma at Ballast Point.
The layout of the Point Loma is very unique and contributes to why so many people are attracted by the Point Loma real estate market.
